🏎️ The 2020 season starts at Knockhill with one of the most spectacular events of the year, the 11th running of the Grant Construction Rally. Gates open at 9am and advance tickets are on sale.
The Grant Construction Rally is a unique, single-venue rally spectacular and will feature some of Scotland’s leading rally crews and cars.
Today’s racing – which brings rallying action closer to the spectators than any other event in Scotland – is the opening round of the Scottish Tarmack Rally Championship, the Scottish Border Rally Championship and the Border Ecosse Club Championship.
A wealth of top cars and crews are expected to enter this unique rally covering 8 stages and almost 35 competition stage miles. With action taking place on the main Knockhill track and surrounding venue roads, visible action can be seen on the horizon across the entire venue.
Last year the entry list boasted Metro 6R4s, Evo 9s, Subaru Turbos as well as the classic Escort MK1 and IIs; and this year should be no different. The first car is due off at 9.00am with action all the way through to darkness.
The 2020 Grant Construction Rally is the first of three rally events at Knockhill in 2020 with the McRae Rally Challenge returning in October and the Motorsport News Rally in December.
