A battle of the basement clubs in the SWPL as second bottom Hamilton Academical host bottom side Inverness City at the Jock Stein Centre.
Hamilton’s slender 1-0 victory over Forfar Farmington last time out was their first win of the season, albeit enough to move the Accies off the foot of the table and above today’s opponents. Their only point prior to last week’s result had come in a 1-1 draw with Hearts. Inverness meanwhile are still in search of their first win this campaign and haven’t managed to get a point since their opening two games of the season, losing six in a row. Any pre-match nerves won’t be helped by the knowledge that Hamilton have emerged victorious in four of the last five meetings between the sides.
