The Accies finally got their points tally off the canvas with a 1-1 draw away at Hearts last time out while Aberdeen were held to a goalless stalemate by Spartans leaving them four points behind Rangers in third place. The home side have only managed four goals in six games this season so will want to build on that with the visit of Aberdeen. For their part the Dons were victorious when the two sides met last season.
