Hawick and Boroughmuir lock horns at Mansfield Park in a battle of two clubs in the BT Premiership basement. Kick-off is 3pm with admission on the gate.
It might not be pretty but it’s guaranteed to be tense at Mansfield Park this afternoon. With the business end of the Premiership season fast approaching it looks like a straight shootout between Hawick and Boroughmuir to avoid the relegation spot, or worse still automatic relegation.
Today’s hosts Hawick have 24 points from 14 matches whereas visitors Boroughmuir have 21 points having played a game less. And both sides will be actutely aware bottom side Marr on 19 points are not done and dusted yet, albeit they face a very tough challenge this afternoon as they host leaders Melrose.
