Highlanders Cricket v Northern Hurricanes

It’s top versus bottom in the North Sea Pro Series (NSP) as Highlanders Cricket welcome Northern Hurricanes to the Grange for a T20 double-header.

Highlanders have been the form team in this year’s NSP tournament featuring a month of T20 matches geared towards the T20 World Cup Qualifiers taking place in July.  There are four regional teams in the competition, two from Scotland (the other being Reivers Cricket) and two from the Netherlands – the Southern Seafarers and today’s opponents  the Northern Hurricanes – each featuring players from the national squads of the respective countries.

Reigning champions Highlanders have continued where they left off so far this season sweeping all before them including two wins over Netherlands side Seafarers last week before those two teams were due to meet yesterday.  Today’s double-header will feature two T20 matches starting at 11am and 3pm.  Expect the Highlanders to take no prisoners as they look to maintain their impressive record, not just in pursuit of another title win but also their players look to stake an early claim for a place in the Scotland starting eleven ahead of the T20 international qualifiers coming up later in the summer.

First ball to be bowled at 11am. Entry is free to all spectators.
