Men’s National League Division 1. A 12.15pm start for two teams without a win so far this season at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre. Watsonians are bottom and Hillhead just a couple of places above them only by virtue of having conceded less goals. Both have suffered heavy defeats in their opening matches of the season so for one team at least it’s a chance to get a morale-boosting win under their belts. That said both teams would probably settle for a draw to at least get a league point on the board.
At 3pm it’s the turn of the ladies as Hillhead 1s meet Kelburne 1s in the Women’s National League Division 1. Mid-table Hillhead will view this match as an ideal opportunity for a win to move towards the top of the table, with opponents Kelburn having suffered a wretched start to the season that has seen them lose 4 out of 4 matches and propping the the league.
Both matches take place at Glasgow National Hockey Centre. Entry for spectators is free with the game starting at 12.15pm.
