Stand by for glamour and top-class horse racing in equal measure at Ayr Racecourse. It’s Day Two of the William Hill Ayr Gold Cup Festival, and that can only mean one thing: Ladies Day!
The second day of the Ayr Gold Cup Festival is Ladies Day where glamour dominates the day. Combining fantastic racing courtesy of seven-race card with lots of glamour and entertainment this is a memorable day in the Scottish social and sporting calendar.
Racing highlights include – The Shadwell Stud/EBF Stallions Harry Rosebery Stakes, a Class 1 Listed race over five furlongs and also a brand new race in The Al Maktoum Cup Arran Scottish Fillies Stakes, also a Class 1 Listed race this time over five and a half furlongs a new race distance for the track.
And of course there’s the William Hill Ayr Bronze Cup where the excitement is fever pitch as this is the race in which each of our Best Dressed Ladies finalists draw a horse and the lucky lady who has the winning horse will bag a fantastic 5 night trip to New York City alongside other fabulous prizes, there is also amazing prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. Throughout the day there’s also a variety of fabulous entertainment, and after racing there’s live entertainment in both the Grandstand and Club Stand to keeping the party going!!!
