A great way to start your week all National Hunt roads lead to Kelso Races this afternoon for The Spring Fling. Gates open at 12.10pm ahead of the first race at 2.10pm and tickets (subject to a discount) are available in advance.
The feature race is at 3.10pm, the Johnstons Of Elgin Scottish Cashmere Handicap Hurdle, a Class 2 race for 4-year-old+ horses taking place over 2 1/2 miles with a prize pot of £20,000 at stake.
The Kelso Races course is situated in the beautiful Borders countryside just north of the picturesque town of Kelso. A magnet for horse racing fans it’s easy to see why – fresh air and a wee punt meets top-class jumps action: what’s not to like?!
Gates open at 12.10pm, first race at 2.10pm and last race at 4.45pm.
Tickets in advance are available online via the ‘Get Tickets‘ link (subject to a £1.50 booking fee) or by telephoning Kelso Races on 01668 280800. An early bird £3 discount per ticket applies to advance purchases available up until 24 hours prior to the first race.
