Kempton Park is the place to be for a retro day of racing with an after-party DJ set from 80s icon Martin Kemp. Gates open at 12 noon and tickets are available.
What better way to start the weekend than an afternoon at the Sport of Kings? With an 80s party for good measure!
The historic Kempton Park course – they’ve been racing since 1878 – is just 16 miles from central London and easily accessible.
Gates open at 12 noon ahead of an afternoon of Flat racing action. And following the last race the after-party will get into full swing from 5.45pm with Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp taking to the stage to mix all the best hits from the 1980s.

Gates open at 12 noon, first race at 2.05pm and last race at 5.35pm.
After Party: 5.45 – 7.15pm (approximately straight after the last race)

Tickets on the day at Kempton Park are available. Under 18s (maximum of 2) are free when accompanied by an adult.
Travel tips: Kempton Park Racecourse is located just 16 miles from the city and 6 miles from Heathrow Airport. It is easily accessible by both rail and car. Kempton Park station is a 2 minute walk from the North Entrance and a 45 minute train journey from London Waterloo. If arriving by car there is parking near both entrances to the track which – depending on the raceday – may be subject to a £5 charge.
