🏇 They’re under starter’s orders for Racing League at Royal Windsor Racecourse as the six-night series approaches the business end.  For the latest ticket information see below.

Race Week 4 of the Racing League at Royal Windsor Racecourse tonight could be pivotal and Team London & The South will be looking to fire on all cylinders in front of a home riverside crowd!

A team competition with a difference the Racing League is a competition between 7 regional teams who are competing over 6 Thursday evenings around the country this summer.  Only one team will be victorious.

Each Thursday evening the teams are going head-to-head and in a battle for valuable points to boost them up the league table.  The team with the highest number of points after the final race night (at Newcastle on 15 September) will become the 2022 Racing League Champions.  

The 2022 teams are:- Ireland ~ Scotland ~ Yorkshire ~ The North ~ The East ~ Wales & The West ~ London & The South.

London & The South are managed by Matt Chapman a presenter for ITV Racing and Sky Sports and journalist for Sun Racing.  Racing in maroon colors their jockey line-up includes standout talents such as Nicola Currie and Sean Levey. 

Other ‘ones to watch’ include the one and only Frankie Dettori – one of the most famous jockeys of all-time – who rides for Wales & The West.

Hayley Turner OBE, the trailblazing female jockey of her generation, part of The East team.

David Egan, the champion apprentice of 2017 with more than 440 career wins, who like Dettori rides for Wales & The West.

Whether you’re looking for some lively summer evening entertainment after work, or a fun day out with the family, Racing League offers something for all alongside it’s seven high-octane races.  Enjoy an electric atmosphere and festival vibe at Racing League’s Southern meeting with music and food throughout the day and into the night keeping the kids entertained with a host of activities.

Located next to the River Thames, in the shadow of Windsor Castle and set in 165 acres of stunning Berkshire countryside, the Windsor track is a perfect venue for a trip to the races.

🚊🚗Travel tips: The racecourse sits on its own island, banking the River Thames and the Clewer Mill Stream backwater passage.  The course is 1.5 miles from Windsor town centre and 25 miles from London.  The nearest stations are Windsor & Eton Central (with direct trains to Slough) and Windsor & Eton Riverside with direct trains to London Waterloo, journey time around 55 minutes.  Taxis are available at both stations.  From Barry Avenue Promenade (opposite Browns Restaurant) near the town centre and railway station, you can hop on a riverboat which will ferry you to the racecourse in style, journey time 10 minutes.  Car parking is available at the racecourse which is well signposted from junction 6 of the M4 and junction 3 of the M3.  If using a sat-nav use the postcode SL4 5EZ.
