Live After Evening Racing at Sandown Park: Madness

🏇 A summer of live music at Sandown and evening racing awaits with Madness among the headline acts confirmed for the 2024 season

Horse racing meets music and entertainment in KT10 can only mean one thing – stand by for live music at Sandown in tandem with the sport of kings. 

Last year Tom Jones was among the star performers on the main stage at Sandown Park after racing.  In 2024 Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics is followed by the one and only Madness this July.    

PETE TONG’S IBIZA CLASSIC LIVE AFTER EVENING RACING ON FRIDAY 26 JULY 

Music nights at Sandown Park Racecourse are back for 2024!  Expect your favourite club tracks reimagined by the 65-piece Essential Orchestra.  It’s conducted by Jules Buckley and coupled with incredible visual effects and the latest in music technology. An unrivalled highlight of the summer.  Get Friday 26 July in your diary for a night of unbarred joy!

MADNESS LIVE AFTER EVENING RACING ON WEDNESDAY 31 JULY 

After scoring their first studio UK Official Charts No.1 album, Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’est La Vie on Friday, one of the biggest and most loved British bands MADNESS are returning to Sandown Park Racecourse on Wednesday 31 July.

Madness said: “Our 2024 summer tour is going to be a true celebration and we’re delighted to be returning to Sandown Park on the C’est La Vie tour!  We’ll be playing a set filled with all our favourite tracks plus a few from our new album.  We can’t wait to see you all there!”

🗝️ Gates open at 4pm. 

🏇 First race at 6pm

🏇 Last race at 8.40pm.

🎤 Concert starts at 8.50pm approx. 

🚊🚗 Travel tips: Free car parking is available in the centre of the racecourse accessible from the More Lane entrance.  Parking in the main Sandown Park car park off Portsmouth Road costs £5.  Use the train if travelling by public transport from central London.  Esher railway station – a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo – is the nearest one to course.  The station is a 10-minute walk from the main entrance.  Spectators arriving by train can cross the centre of the course on racedays.  Note: Esher station is located outside of Zones 1-6 and paper ticket should be purchased as Oyster Cards are not valid.   For train times visit the National Rail website or call 08457 48 49 50.
