Horse racing meets music and entertainment in KT10 can only mean one thing – stand by for live music at Sandown in tandem with the sport of kings.
Tom Jones, Madness and McFly are just some of the acts who have appeared at Sandown Park after racing. Already confirmed for 2025 – TEXAS will take to the main stage on Thursday 7 August!
TEXAS AFTER EVENING RACING
It’s official. Sandown Park Racecourse has revealed the first headliner for it’s highly anticipated 2025 music summer season: one of the UK’s most beloved bands, Texas.
The band will take to the stage after an evening of exhilarating racing for a full headline performance on Thursday 7 August.
Fronted by Sharleen Spiteri, the band have sold over 40 million albums worldwide with a legacy that spans five decades. From debut single “I Don’t Want A Lover” to “Say What You Want”, “Summer Son” and “Inner Smile”, the band’s music has become a defining soundtrack for generations.
Texas said: “Since releasing our greatest hits collection last year, we’ve had an amazing time revisiting so many of our favourite tracks live. We can’t wait to get back out on the road next Summer and are excited to bring our live show ‘The Very Best of Texas’ to Sandown Park Racecourse on Thursday 7 August. See you there!”

🏇 First race at 6pm
🏇 Last race at 8.40pm.
🎤 Concert starts at 8.50pm approx.

🚊🚗 Travel tips: Free car parking is available in the centre of the racecourse accessible from the More Lane entrance. Parking in the main Sandown Park car park off Portsmouth Road costs £5. Use the train if travelling by public transport from central London. Esher railway station – a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo – is the nearest one to course. The station is a 10-minute walk from the main entrance. Spectators arriving by train can cross the centre of the course on racedays. Note: Esher station is located outside of Zones 1-6. Paper tickets should be purchased. Oyster Cards are not valid. For train times visit the National Rail website or call 08457 48 49 50.
