The grounds of Inveraray Castle provide an ideal venue for the annual Inveraray Highland Games featuring the World Cabar Championships. Starting at 10.45am admission is on the gate.
The Games celebrate the local culture and heritage with field and track events, piping, highland dancing competitions and heavy events including the world championships for tossing the caber which is at 3.30pm. There will also be children’s entertainment including fair rides, a good selection of local Scottish food and drink stands as well many trade and charity stalls.
The Games start with a pipe band parade at 10.45am from Inveraray Town Centre. Events will then take place throughout the day.
Admission on the day at the Inveraray Highland Games is priced: Adults £8/Seniors £5/Children £3/Family £18.
