Taking place from Tuesday 28 April to Sunday 10 May two of London’s iconic sporting venues will showcase some of the best players in the worldThe ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals London 2026 marks 100 years since the very first World Championships were staged in the capital — and in 2026, the sport returns back to where it all began.  World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals London tickets are on sale now!

This landmark centenary edition will be the biggest in history, with 64 men’s teams and 64 women’s teams competing across 13 days at the Copper Box Arena and OVO Arena Wembley.

ACTION AT COPPER BOX ARENA & OVO ARENA WEMBLEY

– From 28 April (Stage 1b, see below), 56 teams will battle it out at the Copper Box Arena for 24 places in the Main Draw.

– On 2 & 3 May (Stage 1a, see below), the top seven seeds and England take to the OVO Arena Wembley for Stage 1A to determine their seeding positions for the Main Draw.

– From 4 to 10 May, the Main Draw commences at OVO Arena Wembley.  32 nations will enter the knockout rounds as the battle for world titles hots up.

– On Sunday 10 May the tournament will culminate in Finals Day, when the 2026 World Champions will be crowned.

DRAW STAGES EXPLAINED

Stage 1a will see the top 7 teams along with England (the host nation) competing at OVO Arena, Wembley.  They will be draw into two groups and compete to determine their seeding placement in the Main Draw.  The seeding placement matches take place on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May.  The Main Draw starts on Monday 4 May. 

The remaining 56 teams will play in Stage 1b at the Copper Box Arena which starts on Tuesday 28 April.  The 14 group winners progressing through to the Main Draw at the OVO Arena.  The second-placed teams in the groups will compete in a preliminary round to determine the final 10 teams advancing to the Main Draw, which will feature a total of 32 teams in knockout format.  

Across 13 days, fans will experience the speed, intensity and drama of elite team table tennis at the sport’s most significant event in a century.

Copper Box Arena

The nearest railway stations are Hackney Wick overground and Stratford International station.  Both are approximately a 15-minute walk.  Stratford International is one stop (5 minutes) from London St Pancras on the Javelin train.  Stratford (with links to the underground and DLR) station is about a 15-minute walk.  Plan your journey at the Transport for London website.  Limited parking is available at the Copper Box Arena, however parking is available at the nearby Westfield Shopping Centre.

OVO Arena Wembley

The closest tube station to  OVO Arena Wembley is Wembley Park which is in Zone 4 and on the Metropolitan and Jubilee Lines.  It’s less than a 5/10 minute walk.  Upon exiting the station via the lift or stairs, pass under the tunnel onto Olympic Way.  When reaching Wembley Stadium (do not walk up the ramps) turn right.  Wembley Arena is situated across the road.  Car parking is also available.  See this venue guide for full travel options.
