John Smith’s Fair Friday Racenight with Oasish. A Friday treat at Hamilton Park Racecourse with an evening of top-class horse racing followed by live music from Oasish.
There are 7 races on the card with the 2 big races to look out for at 7.40pm and 8.50pm. The John Smith’s Scottish Stewards’ Cup (a Class 2 sprint handicap over 6 furlongs) is at 7.40pm with a prize fund of £34,000 up for grabs. Then at 8.15pm it’s the eagerly anticipated EBF Stallions Glasgow Stakes, a Class 1 listed race for 3 year-year old horses over 1 mile 3 furlongs. With prize money of £40,000 at stake expect all 20 runners to go all out for the victory. The race has attracted some of the best trainers in the UK with their horses. In amongst them look out for local trainer Keith Dalgleish whow has entered No. 20 Tommy Doc.
First race of the evening is at 6.05pm, with entertainment from Oasish following the last race at 9.15pm.
