Day 2 of the Scottish Super Series Pairs competition this weekend and an opportunity to see Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games gold medallists, Alex Marshall and Paul Foster, on the same Kelvingrove greens that made them household names at last summer’s Games.
The Scottish Super Series is Bowls Scotland’s sole Tier 1 event, carrying more ranking points than any other event in Scotland, together with a substantial prize fund of over £22,000. 39 bowling clubs across Scotland have hosted qualifying rounds from which local players have progressed to contest the finals at Kelvingrove.
Today’s action at Kelvingrove Lawn Bowls Centre starts from 11am with the semi-finals of both competitions. This is the full draw of the Gents Pairs and Ladies Pairs respectively.
