The Lochearnhead Highland Games, including Strathyre & Balquhidder, take place in the lands of MacGregor, MacLaren, MacNab, and Stewart of Strathern, where you can experience all the thrills of traditional highland games in a fabulous setting beside Loch Earn.
The traditional highland games at Lochearnhead will provide all the spectacle and excitement you expect to find at a highland venue. Expect to see track and field events, heavy events like the caber and weight throwing, piping and pipe bands and of course the ever popular highland dancing competitions. Local events for residents of Perthshire Highland Games Association area start at 12.30 p.m. Then at 1pm the Badenoch & Strathspey Pipe Band, Chieftain, President and officials march with Clan MacGregor, Clan MacLaren and Clan MacNab. Pure Malt, the traditional folk band will be in the beer tent from 4pm to 8pm.
First events at the Lochearnhead Highland Games are at 12.30pm.
Admission is on the day priced: Adults £6/OAP & Children £4.
