What is Roller Derby: Think rugby on skates; sort of! Roller derby is a full-contact sport played on roller skates by two teams of five (four defensive players and one attacking one known as the jammer). The game typically takes place indoors on an oval track. The jammer on each side is the points scorer for their team and has to attempt to pass through the opposition pack (defensive players) to then score points. Fast and furious and full of adrenaline the sport is great to watch. For more info check out this London Roller Derby guide.
