Luss Highland Games

All roads lead to Luss in Loch Lomond for the 2017 Luss Highland Games and a great afternoon out for all the family.  Events start at 10.45am with admission on the gate.

Steeped in tradition and held annually since 1875, this year’s Games will commence at 10.45am with Sir Malcolm Colquhoun, Chieftain of the Games, marching in front of the Clan Colquhoun Pipe Band from Luss Car Park to Luss Pier and then onto the Games Field, where the opening ceremony will take place

At 11am the Chieftan will open the Games ahead of a full range of events throughout the afternoon including a kilted dash, tug-o-war, hill races, cycle races, obstacle race, strongman competitions, Highland Dancing and children’s events until the closure of the Games at 5pm.  Refreshments and trade stands will also be situated on the field.

Action starts at the Games Field at 11am with the opening ceremony.
