It’s the final round of the 2016 SXC series at Reid Park in Forfar with podium places to be settled and series medals to be handed out at the end of racing. Forming part of the Angus Cycling Festival it promises to be a great day out for all the family with some of Scotland’s best mountain bike riders in action.
Entry entry if £5 for a wristband and includes the opportunity to have a go on trikes and handbikes and to test your cycling skills on the track. There’s also an Adventure Circus come and have a go at juggling and much more, together with a bouncy castle and Gyrosphere (£2). With a trade village for shopping and local food/drink producers also on site there’s plenty of variety for everyone.

09.30 – Public registration opens for demo bikes, airbag, bouncy castle and skills track
09.30 – 10.30 Scottish Cross Country Championship (SXC) Registration & course open for pre-ride
10.00 – Airbag/Skills Course /Adaptive Bikes/bouncy castle opens
10.00 – Family Ride (10-12pm)
10.45 – SXC line up for 11.00 start (Juv/Youth/Women/Super Vet/Grand Vet/Taster Race)
11.00 – Open Mic Sessions – (11.00 – 14.00)
11.30 – 13.30 SXC afternoon registration
12.00 – Airbag best trick and high jump competition
12.00 – Adventure Circus (12-4pm)
12.30 – 13.30 – SXC under 12 race
13.00 – Family Ride (1-3pm)
13.00 – 14.00 SXC course open for pre-ride
13.30 – Gyrosphere (1.30-4pm)
13.45 – SXC line up
14.00 – SXC start. (Veteran Men/Junior Men/Sport Men/Elite-Expert Men Race)
14.30 – SXC morning podium
16.30 – SXC afternoon podium and close
