Netball fans are in for a treat this week as all four sides who made it to the semi-finals of the 2019 Netball World Cup in Liverpool meet again, this time in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in the Netball Quad Series.  New Zealand Silver Ferns are the current world champions after they triumphed at the Liverpool Arena beating the Australian Diamonds 52-51 in the final.  The Vitality Roses unable on that occasion to match their gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, but still finishing in third place courtesy of a 58-42 victory in the bronze medal match against South Africa’s SPAR Porteas.

Now the slate is wiped clean with the return of the Netball Quad Series time (last held in London in 2019 when the Australian Diamonds were crowned overall winners) to the Copper Box Arena where the four international sides will take to the court 15,16,18 and 19 November for a total of eight games (daily match schedule below) to decide who wins the coveted Netball Quad Series trophy in 2022.

England’s Roses will be quietly confident, coming into the tournament on the back off a memorable 2021 that included a historic overseas victory in their series against New Zealand last September and a subsequent 2-1 series win on home soil over world No.4 side Jamaica.

The competition will be as fierce as it gets as players and coaching staff from all four sides look to gain a psychological advantage in the lead up to the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in 2022 where England will defend their gold medal title.  Who will prevail in this eagerly anticipated showdown between the best international sides in the world?  All sporting roads lead to the Copper Box Arena to find out.
