Vitality Roses Reunited Series: England v Jamaica

The sport of netball in the UK continues its upward trajectory following the exhilarating 2019 World Cup hosted in Liverpool which saw New Zealand crowned champions against Australia.  England Roses took bronze to follow up their gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in 2018.  Update: Vitality Roses Reunited tickets are currently off sale. 

And now, after a long break due to the Covid pandemic, England’s national netball team are back together for Vitality Roses Reunited Series.  Head Coach Jess Thirlby’s side go head to head with the Jamaica Sunshine Girls for three days of international netball action which starts tonight at the Copper Box Arena.

The ‘Vitality Roses Reunited Series’ launches at the Copper Box Arena.  It then moves on to the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham where the Vitality Roses will play Jamaica for the final two days of the tour on 4 and 5 December.

The fixtures give the Vitality Roses players and coaching staff the opportunity to come together on home soil.  The team are continuing their preparations for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in 2022.  England are defending their gold medal title.  This series will give fans across the country the opportunity to see a full strength squad.  Not to mention some of the most exciting netball talent in the world.

Jess Thirlby, the Vitality Roses Head Coach, said: “This is going to be an exciting series for the Vitality Roses and our fans, and is an important part of our preparation for next year’s Commonwealth Games.  We’ve missed getting out there in front of a home crowd and this will be an incredible opportunity to play a top team whilst reuniting both the Roses players and our supporters.”

🎟️ Tickets for the Vitality Roses Reunited at the Copper Box Arena are sold out.

🚊🚗 Travel tips: Public transport is recommended.  Hackney Wick overground and Stratford tube are approximately a 10-minute walk from the Copper Box Arena.  Stratford International station (accessible from London St Pancras) is about a 15-minute walk.  Plan your journey at the Transport for London website.  Very limited parking is available on site although parking is available at nearby Westfield Shopping Centre.
