EVENT PREVIEW

Back in October 2022 the Vitality Roses (pictured below) were victorious in the Netball International Series against Uganda She Cranes, securing a 3-0 series win after a 64-51 victory in the third and final game.  This week the Roses are back at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for Day 2 and Day 3 of a three-match showdown with Jamaica Sunshine Girls.  Vitality Roses Test Series tickets are available.

It wasn’t to be last summer for defending Commonwealth netball champions England who lost out to New Zealand in the bronze medal match to leave Birmingham 2022 empty-handed.  This week England’s Roses look to recapture the 2021 form that saw them record a historic overseas victory in their series against New Zealand, and follow that up with a 2-1 series win on home soil over world No.4 side (and this week’s opponents!) Jamaica.

The sides meet three times in the space of five days and Vitality Roses Test Series tickets have been selling fast.  The first match is at AO Arena, Manchester on Wednesday 11 January, followed by this weekend’s double-header at the Copper Box Arena.

Expect the competition to be fierce at the Copper Box this weekend as both sides look to start their preparations for this year’s Netball World Cup (which takes place in Cape Town from 28 July to 6 August) with a series victory.

Who will prevail in this showdown between England v Jamaica?  All sporting roads lead to the Copper Box Arena to find out.
