2025 TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
Three days of top-class padel action awaits at the R3 Bullpadel Cup in Surbiton. Taking place from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 June the LTA British Tour (Grade 1) event has a total prize pot of £7,600 and will feature a Men’s and Women’s Open tournament.
A host of British stars are set to feature among an international field. The action will take place on outdoor courts with seating in a stand overlooking the centre court to ensure great viewing. And with a live DJ in attendance and food and drinks available, it promises to be a padel summer party to remember.
The R3 Bullpadel Cup was launched earlier this year by R3 Sports (see below for an introduction) to transform padel in the UK by boosting the profile of the sport. Six events are taking place in 2025. This tournament at Surbiton’s historic grass court venue is the second chapter of the R3 Bullpadel Cup which will culminate in the Grand Finals later this year.
The Cup is being delivered in conjunction with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and International Padel Federation (FIP). All the tournaments are LTA British Tour (Grade 1) standard which is the highest level for a national competition. The first tournament was held at the Rocket Padel Bristol in April. Over 1,000 tickets were claimed and more than 250 people attended each day.
