Pod Live Sport ~ Wednesday 8 to Sunday 12 February

🎙️ The UK’s first sports podcast festival has lift-off this week with some of the biggest shows on the sporting scene set to feature at Pod Live in central London.  🎟️ Tickets are on sale here

The Socially Distant Sports Bar, The Race F1 Podcast, BBC’s Fighting Talk and the Sports Podcast of the Year 2022, Morning Kombat, are just some of the world’s best podcasts broadcasting live at Pod Live Sport.  They’re joined by Spotify’s leading sports podcasts who will headline the festival. 

Premier League goalkeeper Ben Foster will be performing his first ever show in front of a live audience when Fozcast takes to the stage.  And Arsenal legend Ian Wright, Flo Lloyd-Hughes from Counter Pressed, plus Stadio hosts Musa Okwonga and Ryan Hunn, will also be joining the line-up, coming to together for a unique collaboration.

And having won Best Rugby Podcast at the Sports Podcast Awards 2022, the Rugby Pod’s Andy Goode, Jim Hamilton and Andy Rowe, will be representing the oval ball to discuss the sport’s biggest stories, including the 2023 Six Nations, with a special guest to be announced.  Completing the line-up is an Evening with James Allcott and Chris Ryan which sees The Ringer veteran join rising UK Youtube star James.

Brought to you by the Sports Podcast Group – organisers of the annual Sports Podcast Awards – the inaugural festival, Pod Live Sport, takes place over five days from Wednesday 8 to Sunday 12 February. 

Shows are being held at Kings Place, a venue in the heart of London and hub of creativity and culture, with additional exclusive events and experiences for Pod Live attendees happening in the surrounding Kings Cross area.

Edd Straw, host of The Race F1 Podcast, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing our podcast in front of a live audience at Pod Live.  This will be our first live event and we’re looking forward to appearing alongside other great sports podcasts and giving our loyal audience a great live experience.”
