Chestertons Polo in the Park ~ Friday 7 to Sunday 9 June 2024

🏇 A summer social treat of polo, picnics and Pimm’s is on the sporting menu as Chestertons Polo in the Park returns to Hurlingham Park in SW6.  Tickets are on sale here. 

Fulham is the place to be this weekend for Polo in the Park at Hurlingham Park.  Think world-class polo action in a perfect setting with an easy social vibe and you have all the ingredients you need for a quintessentially English summer sporting occasion in the capital.

The unique, fast-paced format makes one of the oldest equestrian sports easier for both newcomers to follow and dedicated polo fans to enjoy the excitement

Taking place over three days it’s not just about the sport as this ultimate summer social also brings fashion, food, fun and family together; shop the latest trends, enter style competitions, enjoy delicious street eats in the Grazing Paddock, relax in one of the many pitch-side bars or party hard with live music and DJ’s in the legendary Mahiki tent.

FRIDAY 7 JUNE – International Day

An action-packed day to kick-start the tournament, in 2023 the men’s England Polo Team took to the hallowed turf of Hurlingham Park for a thrilling international match against Argentina.  Expect similar in 2024.  Friday is a perfect day to entertain clients or for after-work drinks with a difference as ‘The Ultimate Office Party’ takes place in SW6.

SATURDAY 8 JUNE – Ladies Day Saturday at Polo in the Park

Come and raise a glass to summer at Ladies Day at Polo in the Park.  A great excuse to meet your friends, dress up and enjoy a day out watching quality sporting action.  Shop `til you drop, then relax with friends in one of the many gardens & bars whilst listening to the best summer anthems.

🏆 Winner’s lap of honour at 7.10pm.

🍹 Last orders at 7.30pm.

SUNDAY 9 JUNE – Finals & Family Day Sunday

Sunday afternoon provides a fitting finale to three days of competitive polo.  This is the day that champions are crowned amidst a fabulous London day party to finish off the weekend in style.  Dust those Saturday night cobwebs away with a Bloody Mary.  Enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon watching the polo while you nurse a jugs of Pimms or a G&T.  When you feel your feet start tapping along to the beat, strap on your dancing shoes, and get stuck into London’s finest summer Sunday session at this glorious festival of polo.

🏇 Matches at 2pm, 3.30pm and 5pm.

2pm: 5th v 6th Play-Off ~ 3.30pm: Semi-Final ~ 5pm: Final

🏆 Prize-giving at 6.15pm.

🚊🚗 Travel tips: There is NO parking available at Hurlingham Park.  Travel by public transport or taxi is recommended.  Putney Bridge tube station on the District Line is a 5 minute walk from Hurlingham Park.  Likewise Parsons Green (also on the District Line) is 10 minutes away.  Plan your journey at the Transport for London website.
