The polo season has lift-off at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club on Saturday 17 May courtesy of the prestigious Justerini & Brooks Prince of Wales Trophy. Read on for a preview and the latest ticket information.
The English high polo season gets underway in style this afternoon in Berkshire with The Prince of Wales Trophy. The tournament is one of the top three in the country and attracts some of the best players in the world. First played for 1986, it sits alongside the Gold Cup at Cowdray Park and the Queens Cup at Guards Polo Club in terms of polo prestige.
The hugely anticipated day features the highest goal tournament played at RCBPC. The tournament takes place at Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club just outside Windsor. The Berkshire venue offers a warm and friendly environment that welcomes all spectators from polo enthusiasts to total novices.
The family friendly finals day is a fantastic day out for all the family, including four-legged ones. A variety of tickets are available. These include the Fieldside Picnic Parking located on the edge of the polo field. The perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere with friends and family while watching some of the world’s top players in action.

Gate 1 Open for Members Enclosure and Grandstand seating. Gate 4 Open for Field Side Parking
3pm-4.30pm: The final of The Justerini & Brooks Prince of Wales Final on Ground 1. Do not cross the safety zone during play.
4.30pm-5pm: Prize Presentation
Please join us outside the Royal Pavilion to cheer the teams for prize presentation
5pm: Celebrations in the Members Enclosure Bar
Guests are welcome to join the teams and members in celebrating the first high goal tournament of the summer polo season
9.30pm: Carriages
🚊🚗 Travel tips: The Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club is easily accessible by car (served by the M25, M3 and M4 nearby) and there is plenty of parking on site. If using public transport the nearest train station is Ascot (a short taxi trip away) which is served by regular trains from London Waterloo. Plan your journey using the Transport for London website.
