The Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh is the venue for an Edinburgh v Manchester showdown in the last group of match of the preliminary phase of this year’s British Water Polo Championships.
Portobello won their last home match 11-7 against London Polytechnic to make it two win from two at home , however away from home they’ve suffered three consecutive reverses and are currently in third place in Group A. Tonight’s match against group leaders Manchester is a must-win if Portobello are to have a chance of finishing in the two in the group and hence securing progression to the finals in May in Lancaster, England.
The match starts at 8pm tonight. Tickets are available on the door: Adults £2/Concessions £1.
