Romford Raiders are flying the flag this season for London in the top tier of the NIHL.  The regular season runs from September to April.  Raiders are targeting a top-eight finish to ensure a place in the Planet Ice National League end-of-season play-offs (more about the league below)

Playing out of the Sapphire Ice & Leisure, which doesn’t have a bad seat in the house, the Raiders are currently eighth in the league (on 47 points) following a double-header of victories over Basingstoke Bison last weekend.  The final play-off place is up for grabs.  Today’s opponents Solway Sharks (in ninth place on 41 points) are the only side who can potentially leapfrog the Raiders and snatch the remaining play-off spot.  It’s all to play for tonight!

Great family entertainment is guaranteed as all roads lead to the Sapphire for a feast of ice hockey, Raiders style, in Romford.  Get your tickets now to experience the action live!
