World-class real tennis action at The Queen’s Club is the cue for the Sir John Ritblat British Open Championship 2024.
Taking place over nine days from Sunday 17 November to Tuesday 26 November, a stellar line-up of players are in action in west London at the Real Tennis British Open. Titles are at stake in the singles and the doubles, with the last players standing (see below for match schedule and main draw) set for a singles showdown on Monday 25 November and a doubles showdown on Tuesday 26 November.
ONES TO WATCH 2024
Reigning world champion Camden Riviere is the number one seed and starts as favourite to defend the title he won in 2023 beating John Lumley in the final. Joining Riviere in the top half of the draw is world number four Ben Taylor-Matthews, runner-up in the Champions Trophy at Hampton Court for the last three years. Number two seed and current world No.3 Nick Howell (the current Champions Trophy champion) is in the bottom half of the draw. Also in the bottom half is real tennis legend and fourteen-time world champion Robert Fahey. If the tournament plays out in accordance with the seedings, a mouthwatering semi-final draw will feature four out of the top five players in the world.
