With little more than 24 hours to go until Ricky Burns v Julius Indongo at the SSE Hydro (tickets for tomorrow available) the official weigh-in takes place at the St Enoch Centre.  Starts 1pm and spectating is free.

There’s nothing like the anticipation of a weigh-in ahead of a big fight and boxing fans will get a taste of what awaits at lunchtime today.  All the fighters on the Ricky Burns v Julius Indongo bill will take to the scales including the star attraction Ricky Burns who is defending his WBA super-lightweight title against unbeaten IBF world champ Julius Indongo in a unification bout.

Also on the bill is Scott Cardle who defends his British lightweight title against Robbie Barrett.  And likewise GB star Charlie Edwards Motherwell’s Iain Butcher who are matched for the vacant British super flyweight title.  Likewise Scottish starts Charlie Flynn – the Glasgow 2014 gold medallist who fights for his first professional title when meeting Ryan Collins for the Celtic lightweight title – and Joe Ham – who also represented Scotland at the Commonwealth Games and who takes on Scott McCormack for the vacant Celtic super-bantamweight title – will be on the scales ahead of their fights tomorrow night.

Weigh-in starts at 5pm.
