The fourth and final day’s play at the Ricoh Women’s British Open, one of the golfing highlights of the sporting calendar. Who will crowned as the champion in one of golf’s most prestigious tournaments?
The 39th Championship makes its second appearance at one of the most famous links courses in the UK, The Alisa Course, Trump Turnberry Resort, Scotland. The seaside club has been host to four Open Championships and is a fitting stage for the world’s leading players to perform, over what has been four memorable days from the 30th July – 2nd August 2015.
The Ricoh Women’s British Open is one of the most exciting Majors in golf. As one of only two women Major’s played outside the US it is the most international with the 2014 field boasting players from 28 different nations, including the world’s top 20 on the Rolex Rankings. The field for 2015 will be equally as strong and will include the likes of reigning champion Mo Martin, fellow Americans, Stacy Lewis, Michelle Wie, Paula Creamer and Lexi Thompson, World number one Inbee Park, teenage sensation, Lydia Ko and UK favourites Charley Hull, Catriona Matthew and Dame Laura Davies amongst others.
Along with the superb golf on show at The Trump Turnberry Resort, spectators will find the perfect opportunity to relax and savour the atmosphere when not out on the course; the Championship Village will host a number of exhibition and retail units, interactive activities, and public catering facilities for the whole family to enjoy.
The 2015 Ricoh Women’s British Open is all set to be another fantastic tournament and is a great opportunity to watch the world’s best women players showcasing their talents when the Championship gets under way at the famous course on the 30th of July.
