Stand by for an afternoon of fiercely fought, hard-hitting roller derby at Meadowbank Sports Centre as ARRG’s Reserves get their 2017 season underway against Birmingham’s Central City Roller Girls. The action starts at 2pm and tickets are available.
The ARRG All Star Reserves were flying high as at the end of 2016, having taken a comfortable win in their last game of the year against Granite Citys Northern Flights. However today’s game against the Central City Roller Girls will see plenty of roster changes for ARRG and undoubtedly the new team will be set to fight hard for a win at home in Meadowbank.
Auld Reekie Roller Girls Reserves Co-Captain Katie Jamieson (Pukeahontas) said:
“We are excited and feeling ready for our first game of 2017. We have been working hard to really gel as a team, weve seen some changes to the roster since our last games but are feeling as strong as ever. The game against Central City Rollergirls presents the challenge we need and a great warm up as we prepare for our first year competing in British Champs.”
First whistle at 2pm for ARRG All Star Reserves V Central City Roller Girls.
