European Challenge Cup Final

European Challenge Cup Final. Gloucester v Stade Français

A stellar 24 hours of European rugby at BT Murrayfield kicks off tonight with the European Challenge Cup Final between Gloucester and Stade Français.  Kick-off is at 8pm and tickets are available.

The European Rugby Champions Cup Final weekend is a treat for Scottish rugby fans with not one, but two showpiece finals taking place at BT Murrayfield.  Tonight the European Challenge Cup Final takes centre stage with a clash between Gloucester and Stade Français.

After missing most of the RBS 6 Nations through injury, the chances of Scotland supporters seeing Scotland captain Greig Laidlaw back playing at BT Murrayfield were enhanced after he came off the bench for Gloucester in their semi-final win over La Rochelle at the weekend.  With Scotland centre Matt Scott, England caps Ben Morgan, Jonny May and Billy Twelvetrees, Welsh back-row and 2017 British & Irish Lion Ross Moriarty all in the squad too, this is another English club packed to the rafters with international talent.

Stade Français, meanwhile, boast French second-row giant Pascal Papé, Aussie scrum-half legend Will Genia and the player many believe to be the best No.8 in the northern hemisphere, the great Sergio Parisse.  Not a bad clash to kick off the European Cup Finals weekend!
