Mansfield Park in Hawick is the venue this afternoon for the Hawick 7s, the second oldest tournament in Scotland.
With the Melrose Sevens having taken place last weekend the 2016 rugby sevens campaign is now in full swing and this afternoon features the third leg of ten in the famous King of the Sevens series. The opening tournament, the Gala 7s, was won by Watsonians who defeated Jed-Forest 38-5 in the final and at last weekend at Greenyards Jed-Forest were once again the bridesmaid losing 29-19 to Edinburgh Rugby in the final of the Melrose Sevens.
t2016 Hawick 7s tournament will follow the traditional 16-team straight knockout format. The full draw for the Hawick 7s can be viewed via the King of the Sevens website.
First tie at the Hawick 7s takes place at 2pm.
Standard admission is on the day to the Ground and Stands priced at: Adults £12/Concessions £8.
