Ayr RFC welcome Watsonian FC to Millbrae for a BT Premiership tussle with big implications for both sides. Kick-off is at 3pm and admission is available on the gate.
A record of six wins and two losses so far this season is not to be sniffed at however Ayr RFC remain some distance behind leaders Melrose who have been playing superbly rattling off eight wins on the spin. As a result the team on the west coast cannot afford to slip up against Watsonian FC this afternoon or risk the Melrose juggernaut disappearing out of sight. However the visitors have their own battle to fight, currently in seventh place and in danger of being dragged into the relegation battle, whereas a win today will lift them comfortably into mid-table.
Will it be a home win for Ayr RFC that will see them keep up the pressure on Melrose, or will Watsonian FC spring a surprise. All roads lead to Millbrae to find out!
Kick-off is at 3pm.
Admission on the gate: Adults £12/Over-65s £8/Members £5/U16s free.
