(M) Big Summer Kick-Off

🏉 Big Summer Kick-Off is back as Harlequins welcome Premiership leaders Northampton Saints to Twickenham Stadium for a Saturday afternoon showdown.

NEWSFLASH: The Big Summer Kick-Off for 2024 is a wrap!  Check out our RUGBY UNION section here for more events coming up in or around London.

CONGRATULATIONS to Harlequins who put on a stellar show for their fans at Twickenham Stadium beating Northampton Saints 41-32 at the Big Summer Kick-off.  Quins scored six tries against the league leaders in a mesmerising game at the home of England Rugby.

Luke Northmore and Will Porter scored twice for Quins in a breathless game in TW2.  The team from the Stoop are now well and truly in the race for the end-of-season play-offs.  With two matches of the regular season to go Harlequins are level on points with fourth-placed Bristol Bears.  Quins and the Bears are set to meet at Harlequins HQ on Saturday 18 May in the final game of the regular season!

The home of England rugby is the place to be this afternoon for the third edition of Big Summer Kick Off.  High stakes rugby is the name of the game as Harlequins go in search of a win to bolster their bid for a top-four finish that will secure a place in the end-of-season play-offs.  But it won’t be easiest against in-form Northampton Saints.  At the time of writing the Saints are sitting proudly on top of the Premiership.  Quins stars, including England players Marcus Smith, Danny Care and Joe Marler – will need to be on their mettle.

Jess Glynne has been announced as the headline entertainment act, part of a full day of fun for all the family.  The West Fan Village will host a range of activities along with food and drink outlets and fairground rides.  There will also be activities on the pitch and around the stadium, including nearby at The Stoop.
