2025 PREVIEW
South-west London is the place to be this afternoon for the Harlequins Big Game 17 at the Home of England Rugby. Big Game is the biggest annual club rugby event in the world and the 17th edition promises to be the biggest and best yet featuring two spectacular rugby matches, world-class entertainment, another bumper crowd expected and a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family. Big Game 16 in 2024 at the Home of England Rugby did not disappoint. Harlequins Women ran in eight tries against their Leicester Tigers counterparts to register a 42-17 win. World player of the year Ellie Kildunne scored two tries for Quins in the victory that took them top of the PWR table. Welsh international Kayleigh Powell also dotted down for the Londoners. Powell was named Player of the Match after a stunning display.
Later in the day Harlequins Men played out a thriller against Leicester Tigers. The hosts looked like they were on course to take the spoils after Cadan Murley scored his second try of the match for Quins with just over ten minutes to go. However, Leicester’s Handre Pollard had other ideas. His last-gasp conversion, after Dan Cole had touched down for a try, meant the match finished honours even at 34-34.
