Strap yourselves in for a Gallagher PREM Rugby special as Saracens and Northampton Saints (men) go head-to-head in north London at 6pm. The iconic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the venue for The Showdown 6 with Sarries and Saints internationals galore set to face-off. Also featuring is a match-up between Saracens and Sale Sharks (women) at 2.30pm. 2026 The Showdown tickets are on sale now!
The Showdown is the game that keeps on giving. Last year Harlequins ripped up the script against Saracens to claim a famous victory at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. 12-0 up at half-time, Sarries looked in control against their London rivals. But Quins roared back to win with 23 unanswered points in the second half (see below for match highlights).
In 2024 Saracens proved too hot to handle for their London rivals. The north London side demolished Harlequins 52-7 in front of 61,000 fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Captain Owen Farrell enjoyed a dream 250th game for the north London side as Saracens The Showdown 5 turned into a procession for the hosts. 24-0 up at the half-time Sarries kept up the pressure to land a statement win that will live long in the memory.
Fast forward to March 2026 and Saracens will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Showdown. But expect Northampton Saints – Premiership champions in 2024 and Champions Cup finalists in 2025 – to put up a fierce fight as the sides battle it out in what could be a key match-up in the 2026 Prem Rugby title race.
