Saracens v Gloucester Rugby

Saracens and Gloucester Rugby go head-to-head at Allianz Park with a place in the final of the Premiership Play-Offs at stake.  Kick-off is at 1.30pm and just a limited number of tickets remain.

It’s been a May to remember so far for Saracens who have already claimed their third European Champions Cup title in four years after fighting back from 10-0 down to defeat Leinster at St James’ Park two weeks ago.

Now the team from north London go in pursuit of domestic glory with Gloucester Rugby standing in their way.  Saracens start the match as defending play-off champions and favourites to win against Gloucester although there was only 10 points to split the sides in the table at the end of the regular season, the teams finishing second and third respectively.

Awaiting the winners at Twickenham next Saturday will be either Exeter Chiefs or Northampton Saints who meet later this afternoon at Sandy Park.

Will Gloucester Rugby spoil the party or will Saracens take a giant step towards what would be a memorable European and Premiership double?  Stand by for what promises to be a gripping eighty minutes of rugby at Allianz Park.

Previous meeting: 22 February at Kingsholm.  Gloucester taking the spoils on home soil courtesy of a 30-24 victory.

Ones to watch: Owen Farrell for Saracens.  10-0 down and staring down the barrel in the European Champions Cup final it was the England captain who once again showed he is the man for the pressure occasion inspiring Sarries to a famous comeback win.  For Gloucester in centre Billy Twelvetrees they have a player at the top of his form and who will be out to impress for more than one reason given he still harbours a desire to be recalled by the England team he last played for in August 2015.

Kick-off is at 1.30pm.

Tickets in advance are available via the ‘Get Tickets’ link.

Tickets on the day.  A sell-out in advance is expected – checking the Saracens Twitter feed on the day is recommended for the latest admission news.
