Scotland play their penultimate warm up match ahead of the Rugby World Cup in front of what is expected to be a record crowd for a Summer Test at BT Murrayfield Stadium.

Scrum-half Greig Laidlaw will lead the team against the Italians with the Scots looking to improve upon their 16-12 win over the Azzurri in Turin last Saturday.  A highly committed performance from the Scottish team is guaranteed with the 31-man squad for the Rugby World Cup to be announced by coach Vern Cotton on Monday.

Don’t miss this chance to send off the team from hom soil ahead of their final warm-up match against France on 5th September, the prelude to the opening game of the World Cup for Scotland, an encounter with Japan which takes place on Wednesday 23rd September at Kingsholm Stadium, home of Gloucester Rugby.

Kick-off this afternoon is at 3.15pm.  And as a curtain raiser for the main event the BT Scottish Rugby Charity Shield will kick-off at 11.45am beween the 2014/15 BT Premiership winners, Heriot’s, and BT Cup champions, Boroughmuir.
