Scotland v Norway

Vauxhall International Women’s Challenge Match.  Scotland meet Norway in a friendly at Firhill Stadium as both teams continue their preparations for the forthcoming UEFA Women’s EURO qualifying tournament ahead of the 2017 finals in the Netherlands.

Norway, ranked 10th in the world by Fifa compared to Scotland who are 20th, will provide stiff opposition for the home team who start their EURO Group 1 campaign next week away to Slovenia, followed by home matches against Belarus and Macedonia in October and November respectively.

The Scotland squad for tonight’s match boasts plenty of experience with the likes of Gemma Fay and Joanne Love with over 150 caps each.  Likewise it will be a opportunity for younger players such as defender Kirsty Smith and striker Lana Clelland to gain valuable experience against top-class opposition.

Kick-off 7pm.

Admission on the gate (cash only): Adults £5 ~ Concessions (Under 16s and Students) £2.
