Glasgow National Hockey Centre is the venue this morning for the concluding match of 3-match series between the Scotland and Wales Women’s teams.
Scotland entered the series as favourites by virtue of their world ranking No. 17 that compares favourably to a Wales team currently ranked No. 34 on the global scene, and the two teams have played twice on Friday and Saturday. The series is the start of a long road to the Gold Coast and the 2018 Commonwealth Games, with players on both sides looking to impress and secure their places in the squad.
The match starts at 11am and it’s free entry to all spectators. A great opportunity to watch the best women’s players from Scotland and Wales in action at the Glasgow Green venue that hosted the 2014 Commonwealth Games competition.
