Scotland take on France this morning in the final match of an international triple-header at Glasgow National Hockey Centre. Match starts at 11am and spectating is free!
Scotland women’s hockey team’s three-match Test series against France concludes today as the home side continue their preparations for the Rabo EuroHockey Championships later this year in the Netherlands.
The sides began the series on Friday night with Scotland prevailing 4-1 courtesy of a dominant performance, followed by an even more impressive 4-0 win yesterday afternoon. Scotland’s women, ranked the number 17 team in the world, will be favourites to wrap up a 3-0 series win against a French side who are currently at number 25 in the world rankings.
The fixtures come as part of preparations for the Rabo EuroHockey Championships 2017 in Amsterdam on 18-27 August. In Amsterdam Scotland have been drawn in Pool B against England, Germany, and Ireland as the Scots look to retain their status amongst the top European nations in European hockey.
Match starts at 11am.
