The Peak in Stirling is the venue for a historic exhibition match hosted by basketballscotland between Scotland Women’s Select vs North Carolina Tar Heels.
This is a unique opportunity for the Scottish basketball community to see some of Scotland’s top players take on one of the best teams in the NCAA on home soil.
The North Carolina Tar Heels are known throughout the basketball world having produced some of the best male and female athletes in the world including the likes of WNBA Star Ivory Latta and NBA superstar Michael Jordan.
Head Coach Sylvia Hatchell holds an outstanding 689-260 coaching record in charge of the Tar Heels and is looking forward to visiting Scotland with the team as part of their European summer tour.
Newly appointed Women’s National Performance Coach, Bart Sengers will lead the Scotland Select side in his coaching debut following his appointment earlier this summer. Sengers is looking forward to the exhibition match and encourages as many Scottish basketball fans to attend.
