Grangemouth Stadium is the place to be for the scottishathletics 125th National Senior Championships this weekend, the highlight of the domestic track and field season. Action from 10.30am with admission on the gate.
Circa 400 athletes are on the start-lists this weekend at a time when athletics in Scotland is on a roll. Laura Muir, Andy Butchart, Eilidh Doyle and Callum Hawkins were just some of the established Scottish athletes who represented Team GB at the recent IAAF World Championships in London. And expect to see some stars of the future at this weekend’s event who will no doubt be inspired by seeing their peers appear on a global stage.
A full preview will appear here later this week.
