Scottish Beach Volleyball Championships

King & Queen of the Beach

The 2016 Scottish Beach Volleyball Championships reach a conclusion with the King & Queen of the Beach tournament at West Sands, St Andrews.

So far this summer the championships have showcased the best beach volleyball players in Scotland and today is no different with men, women and junior pairs all playing for points, and senior pairs playing for the coveted FIVB world ranking points as well as points to decide the overall 2016 Scottish Beach Volleyball Championships winners.

For a flavour of what to expect today take a look at this highlights reel from the CEV Beach Volleyball Continental Cup which held at Portobello in 2014.

Taking place adjacent to the 18th hole of the Old Course and in full view of the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse, the iconic West Sands beach makes for a superb setting to the volleyball action and climax of this year’s Scottish Beach Volleyball Championships.

Refreshments, food and music will accompany the beach volleyball making it a great day out for all the family!

Matches start at 10am.

Admission is free to all spectators.
