Day 1 of the Coral Scottish Grand National Festival promises an extravaganza of quality racing not to mention entertainment as Ayr Racecourse hosts Scottish Grand National Ladies Day. First race is at 2.10pm and tickets are available.
The Coral Scottish Grand National Festival 2017 launches with style, glamour and some quality racing and entertainment with Ladies Day. The seven-race card will feature horses from some of the country’s leading stables with the top jockeys likely to include Richard Johnson, Tom Scudamore, Ruby Walsh and Sam Twiston-Davies. The feature race of the afternoon is the Class 1 Listed Hillhouse Quarry Handicap Chase, a contest that carries the longest running sponsorship of any at the track.
And it’s Ladies Day. A truly fabulous occasion mixing the excitement of top class jumps racing with the glitz and glamour of Ladies Day. And no Ladies Day is complete without our Best Dressed Ladies Competition. One stylish lady will win a fantastic two night trip to Venice for two, the prize including flights and accommodation in the amazing 4* Hotel Palazzo Giovanelli.
Before, during and after racing there is superb entertainment and a top covers band will play in the Club Stand for three hours after the last race with a dj in the Ayrshire Suite within the Grandstand. Book now and enjoy a full on action packed glamorous day at the races !
