Scottish Judo Open 2017

The Emirates Arena is the place to be to witness Scotland’s finest judoka in international action at the 2018 Scottish Judo Open.  Action throughout the day from 10am with admission available on the door.

JudoScotland bring their flagship competition the Scottish Open Championship to the world-class facilities at the Emirates Arena for the first time with Scotland’s top judoka due to face competitors from home & abroad.

With players confirmed from across Europe, including judoka from the prestigious Potsdam Judo Club in Germany, it is set to be an exciting day of competitive judo.  The Scottish Judo Open will play host to the next big names in Scottish Judo, including Clackmannanshire judoka Reece Calder (u90kg) who will be competing at the Emirates following his first IJF World Senior Tour medal in Belgrade in September.

The action begins at 10am across 6 mats with the junior tournaments in the morning ahead of the senior competition in the afternoon.

If you fancy witnessing a combat sport that guarantees exciting and fast-moving action, or perhaps have a budding judoka star in the family, don’t miss this opportunity to watch top-class judo up close and personal!

Competition starts 10am and continues till around 6pm.

Admission to the Scottish Judo Open is on the day only. Adults £5/Under 16s free.
