Lawn Bowls

Scottish National Championships 2015

Day four of six days of competition at the National Championships sees many of the country’s best lawn bowls competitors take to the green to get their competition underway.

First up this morning is the first rounds of the gents junior singles and men’s triples, as well as the ladies singles and triples events.  The action then continues on well into the afternoon with the opening round of the men’s singles and the second round encounters in both men’s and women’s triples and fours competitions.  The playing schedule for the day is on Bowls Scotland website simply click on a competition on the top menu to view in full.

Considered the biggest club event in world bowls and regularly attracting 10,000 spectators, this year’s event at the National Centre promises to be more popular than ever following Scottish success at last year’s Commonwealth Games Lawn Bowls at Kelvingrove.

Gates open at 8am with action from 9am.

Tickets are available in advance via the ‘Get Tickets’ link.

Tickets on the day available on the gate.  Adults£5/U16s free.
