The start of four days of superb swimming action as Tollcross International Swimming Centre hosts Day 1 of the 2016 Scottish National Swimming Championships.

The best of Scottish Swimming will be showcased at the Scottish National Swimming Championships with current and future stars on show at Tollcross.  And with the 2016 Olympics just 5 weeks away the championships include athletes already selected for Rio and others still looking to secure their place on their respective teams.

The event has come at the perfect time for the GBR squad to fine tune their preparations and athletes confirmed to race at Tollcross International Swimming Centre include Commonwealth and European Champion Ross Murdoch, European Silver Medallist Hannah Miley, World Relay Champions Robbie Renwick and Duncan Scott, IPC European Champions Andy Mullen and Scott Quin, alongside a wealth of junior and senior international swimming talent.

The full line-up for today’s sessions can be viewed via the Scottish National Swimming Championship full programme.

Action starts at 8.45am with morning heats, followed by an afternoon session of heats at 1.15pm, with the corresponding finals taking place at 5.30pm.

Tickets in advance are available online via the ‘Get Tickets’ link priced £4 Adult/£3 Concessions/£1 Child for the heats and £5 Adult/£4 Concession/£1 Child for a finals session.  A discount is applicable when purchasing tickets online in advance which end at midnight on the previous day.
